So I took my mom home tonight after dinner and then drove home to my house with her car. I parked on the street and as I was walking to my garage...I slipped on the ice and FELL! I fell HARD! On my left side I just laid there. First thought...ouch, second...how's the baby? As I waddle into the house Camden greets my limping body and notices how wet and dirty I am. (It was raining) I start crying from pain and tell Greg I fell. So off goes the hoodie and we're looking at the blood thinking...hmm that's deep. So back in the car to Urgent Care. By now it's snowing, but so windy and wet it's not really sticking. We enter in 30 minutes before it closes...phew only to find out they have no baby stuff. No doppler, no ultra sound machine. Hmmm, well while I'm here can you look at my elbow. So in to x-ray's (double-vested) and out I come with stitches. My first stitches!!!! 57 episiotomy stitches don't count to everyone. Not a stitch story they want to hear. Huh? So I got stitches...the number isn't important. uhem...cough...2...but it hurts. What a terrible spot to get stitches. I'm sitting here tonight thinking...don't bend elbow...try telling that to my 2 year old doc! But Camden surprisingly is very afraid of my stitches. He is letting me as well as Greg know that "mommy go doctor...mommy hurt elbow". So cute I love this kid.
So wish me luck with my first stitches. I get to go back and take them out in 10 days. Whoopy :-( Here are the lovely pictures of my elbow, Camden showing you where they are and my FAVORITE BYU hoodie with a nice slice in it. So bummed!!!

Ouch Ouch double Ouch!! You poor thing. Stupid Urgent Care. What kind of place is that... no baby stuff. Do they think people in the south Reno area are not pregnant. You know this won't be the first time to the ER for stitches, though probabaly not for you.:) lets hope. Be super careful tomorrow. Love you Mom
Oh my oh my oh my....that really sucks. What a horrible spot to have a split. Its like when your knuckles are split from dryness and washing and you cry when you get lemon juice in the splits. Oh crap that looks like it hurts. I would have swore and cried and swore some more. Sorry Mom, when I get really hurt I do say the big "D". But only when it's called for. Wow! Good luck tomorrow and please be careful. Crawl if you have to. It worked for me going down my stairs after I fell down way to many times when pregnant. Could explain why Emily is the way she is, and Lily. HAHA Just kidding, but please be careful. I love how Camden is so concerned. Poor kid. Now try not to bend your elbow. Maybe I should come and splint it like how you used to when you were little. HEHE! Ok, going to bed.
You're driveway is a death trap! It's always icy. I think you need to upgrade to the house next door so your house will face east and then the sun will melt your driveway! No more icey driveway. Is that a legitimate argument for needing to sell?
I hope that you are ok. You poor think. Stupid ice. That is so scary to fall when you are pregnant. Be careful. One good thing about California no ice in witner. How cute your little boy was so upset by it all. he love his mommy.
I'm so sorry for you Sariah! I have almost slipped on the ice here like 500 times. I hope your scar heals. And don't be sad about your sweatshirt. You could start a new trend with holes in the elbows of sweatshirt. I'd do it with you:) I hope you feel better. And no more slipping!
I'm still cringing over the 57 stiches...holy painful!!! I mean, I have talked about it with you before and it still makes me a little woozy to think about. Hopefully you went with a different doc this time?
So I left you a tag, but I realize I was at your wedding, but I would still love to see pics anyways, if it is not a hassel for you if it is then no big deal. Hope all is well with you guys.
