I told him on Thursday that I missed him, that I would never forget him, and that I was slacking with all my projects. I told him I was going to blog more often. I told him I wanted to be better. I wanted to feel happy...not fake happy. So I told him I would blog every Tuesday. So I'm doing what I told him...and this is my goal. Here it goes.
At the end of May was the father/son campout. Greg was thrilled he could finally take Camden. Cam was beyond excited. They packed up good ol' Pedro the truck and headed out on an adventure. Greg said it was exactly that. Camden rolled all around the tent and didn't sleep a wink. They both came home dirty and tired, but had fun. That's what counts!

Camden and Tanner love to sit in the back of my car and watch the rain in the afternoon. It's one of their favorite things this summer. It just keeps raining and raining and raining....

When it's not raining, we wash the cars. My car gets clean from the rain, but somehow Greg's car becomes more dirtier and dirtier from the rain. Cam LOVES to wash cars.

I think our water bill will be going up, because we've been using a lot of water lately. Bath time is a calm time for Tanner. It stalls us every night for like an hour before putting Tanner to bed. He fusses from 6 to 7:30 before bed, so why not put him in the bath to pass the time. Oh...and why not add some beverages to the bath routine? Crazy boys.

Camden is very excited to go to school in September. He practices "playing" school by calling out roll and letting all the "kids" sign in. Basically I'm the kid who signs in under whomever's name he calls out. Tanner plays along as the teacher's sister. Why sister? Who knows, but that is apparently his official title.

Look...more water.
My good friend LC's parents have a wicked cool blowup pool. Yep that really big orange thing at Costco. Yep...they bought it. It is so fun. I went down the slide a couple of times. I was trying to go for that mom of the year award. Camden voted for me, so I think I won.
Tanner loved to climb up the slide over and over and over. He never got far up it, but it didn't matter. He was determined.

I love that face. How can that make you not feel happy. I am blessed that my lil Tanner looks like Jeff. He will always remind me of something I never want to forget.

That was such a sweet post. I think Jeff will be happy to know you are trying to be happy again. I think about your family often and wonder how you are all holding up.
Cute kids, as always :) I am crossing my fingers for the 18th. I realize that is a good day for you so I will see what I can do:) Right now I am hoping even more for the 17th of June. That sounds like a great day to have a baby! I still have about ten more hours to make it happen...
