Remembering October with 40 pictures :-)

I was a terrible blogger last month. I had so much to blog, but just never wanted to. Well...the truth sucks...but yep...didn't want to blog. Anyway...let's start from the beginning.

October is my brother Jeff's favorite month because of his favorite holiday, HALLOWEEN!
My mom and my sisters went and decked out his plot with some decorations for him. His house was always decorated in Halloween decor, but he added even more and more every year to his collection. So we're just continuing adding to his collection. Here is my mom and Dre setting up the fence. Tanner was a great supervisor.

Me and Dre

Carrie lookin good...and cold!

Jeff's favorite candy for all of his frequent visitors

My mom made this super cool black wreath with dark purple roses.
Love it!

The finished product! We love you Jeff!

October also brought a major big event. Camden's first day of Preschool. We are zoned for Pleasant Valley Elementary School...until we move in 2 weeks, then we'll be zoned for Brown. But until then, we LOVE PVES and his teachers Miss Stacy and Miss Teresa. He has made some new friends and we love to pass all the horses on the way to school.

His new Lightning McQueen backpack

After his first day...he survived!
This month they had their Halloween party. They did a parade into all the classes and made all the games and decorations for their classroom.

Halloween Bingo

Jack-o-Lantern bean bag toss

Pin the nose on the pumpkin

they picked the menu for their party. mmm delicious. candy candy and candy

We love Fridays though, because Camden doesn't have school on Fridays. Tanner loves having his big brother home. As much as he loves playing with Camden's toys while he's gone, he would much rather have him home during the day everyday!

We like to just hang out in jammies on Friday and veg and play and nap and play some more.

We also had our ward trunk or treat. Here is Camden and his best bud Trent. Superheroes to save the day! Trent usually has blonde hair, but Superman needed dark hair. Camden said he wanted "his Trent" back. He did not like black haired Trent. :(

hugs for the little dinosaur (Tanner)

mmm....candy.
Trunk or treats rock. You know all the candy is safe and who its from...no one gets hit by a car and it's over in 15 minutes. I'm a big fan!

We also went to some Pumpkin Patches. This one had 5 bouncehouses to choose from to jump in. Each costing 3 bucks a kid to get in. Uggg....what do you mean you want to go on every single bounce house kid? That's 30 bucks!!! Nope...pick one and stay in it!

But wait...ride the ponies for 4 bucks for 2 minutes.

Oh and the train...16 dollars for a crappy ride around a "dump yard"

But these happy faces are priceless!

We did not pay for this one!!!

so heavy...heavy heavy heavy

Hay ride $9. Man October is expensive

Luckily it comes one time a year right?
And how can you not enjoy the treats. A Jack-oLantern pizza from Papa Murphys! Can you tell Tanner is hungry and excited! He kept blowing on the oven saying hot while the pizza cooked.

And mmmmmmmm this cake was so delicious. Our friend Anjie used to work at the Bundt cake store. Her brother actually owns it. (Nothing Bundt Cake) She brought this to my mom's and it was fabulous. It was very chilled which made it ten times better. Pumpkin with Cream cheese icing. Yummy! And so cutely decorated. Thanks Anjie!

So after our crazy month of party after party...Greg and I also went as Papa Smurf and Mya the Bee to the adult party...(thanks Lisa)...i was officially pooped. By Sunday morning, I started off the month of November with no voice. I sent the very handsome boys off to church with the daddy-o and I sat home eating treats and watching Lifetime. Laryngitis baby! Gotta love it!

I feel so caught up... but I'm not! But I blogged 40 pictures and it feels good for right now! Until then, ta-ta and enjoy.

Jeff's grave looks so good. I love the wreath. In Kevin's defense, Tanner does look so much older in the last month. Jameson will be so excited to see these pictures in the morning. You should have come with us to the pumpkin patch. It was only $5, although I don't think the price of plane tickets would even it out.
Oh, and I was looking at Danielle's website. They reopened for the holiday season and it says they're the supplier for popcorn at Nothing Bundt cakes. I don't know how I feel about that.

Ohhh I got sad when I saw what you did to Jeff's gave that is so sweet. I am sure he loved it.

I love the Pumpkin patch pictures. No October is complete without venturing to pick some pumpkins. The "adult party" you went to was fun huh? I loved your costumes, but you skimmed on the pictures.

The more pictures the merrier! I am all for veg days. Only a little longer until Thanksgiving- I am so ready for a trip to Reno.

So this Friday I'm coming over in my jammies and vegging. Sounds fun!
