Okay so this is only funny to those that have read Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. Here goes. (By the way...I'm on page 260 of Eclipse....so good)
Okay so I finished Twilight in less than 12 hours...it got addicting and it was about 11 at night. Greg had already been asleep for an hour and I was just finishing some delicious cereal when I decided to go to the bathroom before I went to bed. All the lights were off in the house...except for the tiny bathroom where I was. So I come walking out of the bathroom, flip off the lights and head down the small hall way to my bed. (This is all in the master bedroom). Well you know how your eyes have to adjust to the dark? Um yah I thought I saw as I was walking to the bed...I thought I saw a little white thing hovering over Greg and then it looked at me with these red eyes!!! So I SCREAM at the top of my lungs and flip on the hall light. Greg panics so fast and jumps up at me and starts holding my belly screaming... what?what ?what? We can both hardly breathe. I said...I thought you were a vampire. He lets his breathe out and hugs me and says under panting breathe...I thought maybe your water broke or something. We both just start laughing...still completely out of breathe from screaming. Then Greg says...a vampire? I said yeah, what were you doing? He then said I was sitting up a little so I could ask you as you walked out to bring me some kleenex for my nose! Oh...that would be the white shirt I saw with the squinty eyes...hehehe my husband. He then says, I thought your book wasn't scary? Me: um it's not...but vampires in general are just scary. So I said...leave the lights on for a while...I'm freaked out now.
About 30 minutes later we were both on the verge of falling into deep slumber when Greg mumbles over to me...Hey sweetie...just so you know...I'm going to be laying her all night, probably breathing my regular silent snores...so if you could resist beating me up in the middle of the night because you think I'm a vampire...I'd really appreciate it. Oh man...what a night!
Story 2. On the way home from church a silver volvo cut us off on the freeway. My heart jumped and I thought...oh Edward. That's when I knew I was truly a Twilight fan and I had a crush on Edward.
Okay story 3. So I was up again at 11 last night reading book 3 and Greg once again had been asleep. They are so addicting. But I put it away and went to bed at 12. Well this morning...I slept in an hour after Greg and Camden were up. I come walking out of the room and I see Greg's back to me as he is changing Camden's diaper. So I walked to the kitchen, opened the pantry, grabbed a box of cereal and turned to the counter that overlooks the family room. Greg looks up and jumps a little bit. He says...where'd you come from? I said: I'm a vampire. I'm fast and very light on my feet. hahaha okay that was maybe only funny to me, but I didn't intentionally walk quiet or anything...it just so happened that Greg didn't see me. I felt like I was truly relating to the book being all quick and quiet. haha.

I haven't read those books yet, but I still thought your stories were hilarious! I especially liked the first one, that sounds like something I'd do after reading a "not scary" book. :)
Okay, totally going to get the book, right now!
I remember right after I read these books I kept having dreams about vampires-so I can totally relate-Your first story is so funny!
Those books are just too addictive (a.k.a. too fun). They should come with a warning, like, WARNING: You may not be able to sleep for a whole week because you can't put these down. And also, WARNING: It will take you a week at least to detox after you finish them.
You forgot story number 4: I came over to pick you up for the recipe swap and was waiting for you to finish up your recipes. Camden was bouncing off the walls and Greg. Then when we went to leave you asked for a kiss good-bye from Camden. Camden looked up at me, walked over gave me a kiss and then went back to playing and you had to ask for one yourself! So funny!
Those are so funny. I told you they were addicting.
The books are way addicting, and just when you stop thinking about them someone else reads them and brings up the subject all over again! I personally was more of a Jacob fan than an Edward fan though:)
Oh my gosh these stories all so FUNNY! Yes you become obssessed with the books and realting everything to them for a while after you read them, I am so excited that you loved them. I just finished another book that also had a character named Edward, and I really had to readjust and not think it was EDWARD!!
I love Twilight too. It is the best! How are you feeling these days? Cam is getting so big. I bet he is lots of fun. I can't wait til Jaxs is that age!
Hey Free Family! We were friends with Greg in college and found your blog and wanted to say hello! What a cute family, congrats on the new one on the way.
I just read the Twilight series a few weeks ago too and loved them! I found out the 4th book will be out in August and the movie will be out December 12th. They ARE so addicting, but I totally enjoyed them too. Tell Greg hello!

I am so happy you fianlly have read them! If you are feeling all anxious and jittery and need a Twilight fix or someone to talk to you can always call/email me :) Those stories were funny. I could tell you some great ones. And you know the comment you made about my backyard? Todd freaked out one night as he was out in those trees because he thought he saw two vampires coming at him. Turned out to be two giant dogs but when you've got vampires on the brain nothing's safe. :) Once again- I would love to chat Twilight with you if you ever want to :)
